Hi all, I've been looking for craft communities to join, and I stumbled upon this one.

You can just call me Niemand. I've been sewing off and on for four years now. I make plush dolls as well as hats, but that's for a different community :p

Today I'd like to share a plush doll I just finished this morning. I was commissioned by a friend to make Vault Boy from Fallout 3.

As I mentioned in a post last night, I'm putting together my third lap map. I'm almost there, but I need one more piece and can't find it by itself on the Trading Post (I've been searching and refreshing for over a half-hour), so I'm hoping maybe someone here has one they'd be willing to sell me. I don't know what the going price is for this specific piece, but judging by how much I paid for the others I'm sure I have enough. neomail nerys42 with a Trading Post URL if you can help. Here's the piece I need:

While refreshing the Shop Wizard yesterday, I got a lab map piece in an RE, so I decided it was fate telling me it's time to get another lap map for my secondary side account so I can once again increase my potential zaps per day. What's the most recommended way to complete a map? It took me a long time to get my bank account back up to more than a million, I don't want to go back down to nothing.

Also I'd like some opinions: when I zap something that i think is cool and someone probably wants, but nobody in this comm claims it and nobody response when I contact them via dream pet wish lists, would it be better to pound it so someone who'll appreciate it might snag it later, thus freeing up a spot for a new labrat, or should I continue zapping it hoping for a more covetted result? I pounded a White Acara some time ago because the only person to express interest seemed to disappear after we made contact, and the poor little thing is still in the pound (Rynasa, in case anyone's interested). Well, I currently have a Split Tonu, a Mutant Bori and a Sketch Tonu, and I've advertised all of them here and checked lists, I wanna do something with them.

Sorry if this was a bit rambly I'm sleepy.

I'm showing at Luv-able + Hug-able in New York this December, and just in case it doesn't snow there, I decided to make some snowflakes to send over.

The Rag-Snowflakes

The theme of this year's show is "Medium & Mini", so these unique medium to little snowflakes range in size from approximately 35 cm to about 15 cm.

More snow! )

There's a lot more photos of the snowflake quintet in my Flickr: http://www.flickr.com/photos/kitty_vane/sets/72157622381501079/

And if anyone happens to be in New York this Christmas, please do go see the show, there'll be many, many amazing plushie artists exhibiting their work there! :)
